About Brabantsche Wal
At Brabantsche Wal we grow, cut and supply the tastiest asparagus. As the name suggests our asparagus is grown on the Brabantse Wal – a natural ridge between the low-lying sea clay polders of Zeeland and the higher-lying sandy soils of Brabant. This location, in which the pure groundwater from the Kalmthoutse Heide (Heath) flowing underground towards Zeeland combines with the salty sea air from Zeeland flowing over the Brabantse Wal when the wind is from the west, is what gives Brabantse Wal asparagus its unique slightly salty taste.
But there’s more to us than just asparagus! We also produce and distribute ‘specialities’, such as yoghurt with mixed berries and other fruit in small to-go packaging, and ready to use fresh fruit including pitted cherries, hulled strawberries and peeled and cored apples. Our offering of soft fruit-based convenience concepts is especially interesting for customers because we use machinery to do all the chopping, pitting, hulling and packaging. This enables us to guarantee a consistent (high) quality and an attractive purchase price.
Brabantsche Wal works with the leading fruit growers in Europe and is always on the look out for innovations. We select our range very carefully and offer next working day delivery. At Brabantsche Wal fresh really does mean fresh!
